When a client chooses to remain at home rather than a long term care facility, it is important that ACC provides on-going, live-in care. ACC provides that service on a weekly basis. Normally, these services are not paid by insurance unless the client has paid into a long term care insurance plan. ACC arranges the care and then the care plan is approved by the family.
